Mighty Pen owner/principal Susan Reid is an award-winning copywriter and public relations specialist. During her extensive career, she has worked in advertising and public relations agencies in Boston and Sacramento, writing for a diverse client base of businesses, nonprofits and public agencies.
Susan has managed the marketing functions for major professional services firms on both coasts, including an international benefits/HR consulting firm, a national contract employment firm and one of Sacramento’s top law firms. [read more]
Mighty Pen Writing & Editing focuses on marketing copywriting for clients based in the greater Sacramento region, throughout California, and as far away as New York.
Susan works with clients to brand their businesses and products and to develop messaging for ads, brochures, annual reports, web sites, CD ROMs, billboards, newsletters, direct mail and other marketing collateral materials. She also writes and places feature articles and press releases.
This website is dedicated to my mother, Eileen Cash Reid, who did The New York Times crossword puzzle daily in ink. She is the inspiration behind the name Mighty Pen.
